Because the Jomar Stud Girdle is designed to mount above the rocker arms, extended adjustment nuts (poly-locks) are necessary to provide the required mounting capabilty.

All heads with in-line studs use 2.0" Adjustment Nuts.
351C Ford, 460CJ(A429), Ford Blue Thunder use 2.2" Adjustment Nuts.
BB Chevy uses 2.6" Adjustment Nuts on intake studs and 2.0" on exhaust.
"A460" Ford (TFS or SVO Heads) use 2.6" Adjustment Nuts
Ultra-Lite Girdle Bars
All heads with in-line studs use 2.0" Adjustment Nuts.
TFS SBC G-2 "Twisted Wedge" heads use 2.2" Adjustment Nuts.
BB Chevy uses 2.6" Adjustment Nuts on intake studs and 2.0" Nuts on exhaust.
Note:All Adjustment Nuts come in packs of 8. You will need 2 packs to equip both heads of an engine. Thats why when your ordering Stud Girdles and your selecting adustment nut options, you see "qty of 2".
